Con l’album “Rockabilly From The Boots Up” (1998) viene ingaggiato negli USA dal presidente della ROCKABILLY HALL OF FAME il quale produce il cd, conferisce a Marco il ruolo di membro onorario della stessa per poi eleggerlo Presidente della sede Europea.
L’album ottiene un sensazionale successo di pubblico e critica e per citare uno dei tanti giudizi: “prevedo che sarà il disco del ’98, perche i gruppi americani non sono così bravi?” Joe Waigel – Las Vegas Post.
Dal ’96, suona con pressoche’ tutte le leggende del r’n’r passato ed attuale:
TERRY WILLIAMS (DIRE STRAITS), D.J. FONTANA (ELVIS’ BAND), SCOTTY MOORE (ELVIS’ BAND), SLIM JIM PHANTOM (Batterista degli STRAYCATS),  ROBERT GORDON, LINDA GAIL LEWIS (sorella di JERRY LEE LEWIS), JOHNNY FARINA (Santo & Johnny), ALBERT LEE, BILLY SWAN (compositore e vincitore di un disco d’oro nel ’75 con “I Can Help” poi ripresa da ELVIS) per citarne alcuni di oltre 40!
Realizza 10 Albums prodotti in Usa, Germania, Finlandia, Italia,  un Video didattico, un videoclip  e la partecipazione in oltre 35 compilation internazionali.
Intervistato dai maggiori network radiofonici e televisivi, Chicago Tv, BBC radio etc.. viene contattato anche da importanti marchi per realizzare colonne sonore per films e  spots quali HONDA SCOOTER, TIM, SANTAL, in onda in USA, CANADA, SVEZIA, UK, SPAGNA, ITALIA.
Un suo brano viene inserito in una puntata della celebre serie tv FRIENDS.
Unico artista italiano ad essersi esibito al teatro del Grand Ole Opry di Nashville, in occasione dell’assegnazione del Grammy alla carriera a Brenda Lee. Quella sera Marco si esibisce con D.J. Fontana (il batterista di Elvis Presley) e Bill Mack (il bassista di Gene Vincent).
Il suo bagaglio tecnico gli ha concesso di affermarsi anche in campo didattico. Il suo video “La chitarra Elettrica Rockabilly” è apprezzato a livello internazionale e da qualche anno collabora ed effettua stages e workshop per conto dell’accademia musicale Lizard, in collaborazione con Davide Mastrangelo.
La sua tecnica è un crossover di stili: Rockabilly, Country, Western Swing, Blues, Surf e Rock’n’Roll.
Marco non è semplicemente un chitarrista Rockabilly, infatti, alla stregua di chitarristi quali Danny Gatton, Albert Lee, Brian Setzer, Junior Brown, riesce a mixare tutti gli stili attinenti al Rock’n’Roll ed al Country/Jazz.
Il celebre cantante newyorkese Robert Gordon, dopo aver suonato con vere leggende delle 6 corde quali Chris Spedding, Link Wray ma soprattutto Danny Gatton, ha voluto Marco e il suo trio per i suoi concerti europei. Non da meno il giudizio di Terry Williams, batterista dei Dire Straits, il quale rilascio’ questa dichiarazione: “Ho suonato con i piu’ grandi, Mark Knopfler, B.B. King, Eric Clapton, Albert Lee…posso dire che Marco Di Maggio è uno di loro”.
Compone la maggior parte dei brani del suo repertorio e si mette in luce anche in qualita’ di arrangiatore con la Supersonic orchestra, composta da 7 elementi.
Il suo ultimo cd/video, intitolato “The Wildest Game”, registrato con il nuovo progetto DI MAGGIO CONNECTION, vede la collaborazione di Claudio Gregori, alias GREG delle Iene di ITALIA1, l’esplosivo entertainer romano, noto per per le sue performances con Lillo e per programmi Tv e Radio quali Telenauta69, Ottavo Nano, Bla Bla, Le Iene, 610).
Greg, cultore della buona musica R’n’R e Swing, incontra Marco alcuni anni fa’ in occasione di un Festival dove i due si esibiscono con le rispettive formazioni e di li’ a poco capiscono di condividere lo stesso feeling per la musica, nasce cosi’ il progetto che lo vede come Guest sia nel cd che nel videoclip della Di Maggio Connection.
Nel 2007 Marco effettua con la Connection un lungo tour che lo porta ad esibirsi in CINA, RUSSIA, FINLANDIA, DANIMARCA, LETTONIA, ESTONIA, INGHILTERRA, SPAGNA, SVIZZERA, FRANCIA.
Il tour verra’ replicato nel 2008 con tappe anche ad Hong Kong e Scandinavia.
Dal 2008 Marco viene selezionato da M. Casale Bauer/Gretsch Guitars come endorser per il prestigioso marchio di chitarre e nel contempo avvia una collaborazione anche con la casa di corde Elixir String.
Nel Luglio 2009 arriva il riconoscimento piu’ prestigioso, Marco viene infatti chiamato ad esibirsi con la Connection nell’ambito del Montreux Jazz Festival, per l’occasione viene registrato un cd Live che verra’ pubblicato nel 2010.
Nello stesso anno torna in studio per le sessions di registrazione del nuovo album con la Di Maggio Connection, intitolato The Route Of Time, pubblicato nel Novembre 2010.
Nel 2012 dopo vari tour effettuati con alcune leggende del R’n’R, Johnny Farina, Slim Jim Phantom e Robert Gordon, torna in studio per le sessions di registrazione del suo primo disco strumentale, con uscita prevista per l’ anno 2013…

Marco Di Maggio has been recognized by the international press as one of top world’s R’n’R guitarist.

He has released 10 cd’s (so far), 1 teaching video, 1 music video, and has been included in more than 35 international compilations.

Interviewed by important tv and radio channels as the BBC in the UK, from ’99 on he started to work on soundtrack and music spots and many of his songs have been included in movies from all over the world, including the famous tv series “FRIENDS”.

He become populair with his first band, The  Di Maggio Bros. and with the Di Maggio Connection Marco opened a new chapter on his music, releasing the album “The Wildest Game”, 16 tracks of pure dynamite R’n’R with a lot of influences from NeoRockabilly, Surf, Rock and Swing.

During 2007, Marco toured China playing at top clubs in Shanghai, Peking, Hangzhou.

During 2008 Marco came back to the studio to record his 10th albums titled “The Route Of Time” with his band, The Di Maggio Connection.

Also in 2008 the Connection went to China, Hong Kong, Russia, Scandinavia, Spain, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Uk, France for a brilliant world tour.

His 10th album, with the Di Maggio Connection, released by Musical Brain, was published in October 2009.

Marco has been selected by the great Gretsch Guitars to endorse those fabulous instruments thanks to M.Casale Bauer – Italy and in the same time he started a collaboration endorsing also Elixir Strings and Digitech effects.

During July 2009, Marco has been invited to perform with the Di Maggio Connection at the great MONTREUX JAZZ FESTIVAL, where the band recorded a cd live that will be published the year 2011.

During the last 3 years, Marco was in tour with his projects and also with Robert Gordon, Johnny Farina and Slim Jim Phantom.

Recently, he returned in recording studio to record an instrumental album, it will be published during the autumn 2013.
